This week, 272 members of Congress failed to meet the moment and save lives, Pamela:
53 senators and 219 representatives, including Rep. Haridopolos and Sens. Scott and Moody, chose complicity and more violence by rejecting a bipartisan war powers resolution to stop Trump's illegal war on Iran — an unjustified war of choice that has killed over a thousand people, including six U.S. servicemembers.
Their votes were out of touch with the overwhelmingly anti-war majority of people who reject another endless war and Congress' lack of constitutional authority over war and peace. If you agree, they deserve to hear from you now, before they cast another vote for more war.

Going to war is among the most serious decisions a government can make, yet even as servicemembers are killed in Trump's unauthorized, unjustified war, too many in Congress have again failed to understand, let alone meet the moment.
No one is made safer by these 272 votes, especially not the brave Iranians who have protested under a brutal regime and now face, in the words of Secretary Hegseth, 'death and destruction from the sky all day long.'[1]
Make no mistake — this isn't over. In the coming days, Congress will take up an emergency supplemental to fund Trump's war with an additional $50 BILLION, and our work to defeat it starts now.
Accountability for this week's votes can help send a crucial signal that we demand better. Join us by sending a message today:
