| Petition to Congress: We urge you to oppose all anti-democratic attacks on free and fair elections and voting rights. We urge you to restore real-time postmarks for election mail. |
Louis DeJoy's USPS legacy is set to cause election chaos and confusion.
USPS announced that it can no longer guarantee when mail will be postmarked — a change that is a direct result of DeJoy's restructuring. The new policy could invalidate countless ballots that will now be postmarked days after they're actually dropped in the mail.
It lines up perfectly with Trump's all-out push to eliminate mail voting that could disenfranchise millions of people. Trump called mail voting "THE MAIL-IN BALLOT HOAX" as his administration full of election denier conspiracy theorists tries to suppress the vote.
Congress must take urgent action to protect America's free and fair elections from the Trump regime.

Former Postmaster General Louis DeJoy spent years removing mail processing from local communities and centralizing it into massive regional hubs that can be hundreds of miles away. That means ballots dropped at neighborhood post offices or blue boxes are no longer processed and postmarked locally.
Postmarks are how election officials decide whether a ballot was mailed on time. When postmarks are delayed, ballots become vulnerable to rejection, legal challenges, and partisan games after Election Day.
The stakes are clear: Trump and his allies want to lock themselves into power by rigging the system, suppressing votes, and silencing millions of Americans. Making it harder for people to vote by mail is a key plank of that agenda, and Congress needs to step up and protect voting-by-mail.
Sign the petition: Stop Trump's effort to end mail-in voting. Save the 2026 midterm elections!
