One of the most consequential votes on war or peace since the Iraq War

This is how we stop Trump's illegal war on Iran.

Win Without War

Lawmakers are about to take what could be among the most consequential votes on war and peace since 2002, and they need to hear from constituents like you today, Pamela:

This weekend, Trump upended diplomatic negotiations to launch a war that has already impacted a dozen countries and killed hundreds of people. This morning, Administration officials stated they are preparing for a multi-week operation, one in which Trump has comfortably, callously stated more U.S. servicemembers will die. Congress must stop this illegal war against Iran before it spirals further.

A key chance to pass a war powers resolution that reins Trump in is coming up fast — as soon as TOMORROW — and any votes are likely to be close. Multiple Republicans are poised to break ranks and reject Trump's reckless approach. Unfortunately, multiple Democrats have also indicated they might cede ground to Trump by voting no.

One thing remains clear: These votes have untold consequences for U.S. servicemembers and hundreds of millions of people across the Middle East, and pressure from constituents in this final stretch can help unite lawmakers behind one demand: NO WAR.

We're flooding offices with phone calls today. Call your members of Congress now!

MAKE A CALL

We need to flood congressional offices with our demands for peace by any means possible. Can't get to the phone? Send a message to your representative and senators here.

We've prevented runaway escalation between the U.S. and Iranian governments before, which is why we refuse to lose hope and are as undeterred as ever. Together, we will reject a status quo that feeds, grows off, and promises more devastating violence — and use our commitment to one another as the foundation to build the more peaceful world we want and deserve.

Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team

P.S. Win Without War, MoveOn, and 50501 are hosting an emergency mass call TONIGHT at 7PM ET/4PM PT, where we'll hear from activists, foreign policy experts, and members of Congress who are calling for immediate de-escalation in Iran and demanding immediate action to rein in Trump. RSVP here for tonight's mass mobilization call!
