TAKE ACTION: Tell your senators to REJECT additional funding that ICE will use to hurt us >>
Pamela, right now, we have a chance to stop Congress from approving billions more taxpayer dollars for ICE. Your voice matters now more than ever.
The reforms that Democrats in Congress are demanding should be the bare minimum in a free country: banning racial profiling, protecting schools and polling places, and expanding oversight. [1]
So, what does it tell you about Mike Johnson, Donald Trump, and Stephen Miller's intentions that they won't even come to the table?
Replacing Kristi Noem with another MAGA sycophant won't fix what's broken. When federal agents are terrorizing our communities, we shouldn't ask for the bare minimum in return – we must demand the democracy we all deserve.
That means: pulling ICE out of our communities now, holding Trump's new Homeland Security nominee accountable, and passing enforceable reforms to end ICE's lawlessness. [2]
We can't let Congress give this administration a green light to continue business as usual. You can help demand better, right here and right now.
Tell the Senate: Don't write ICE the $10 billion check Trump is asking for >>
What's happening right now goes far beyond immigration policy.
Donald Trump and Stephen Miller have built a secret police force designed to operate above the law – funded by billions of our taxpayer dollars and fueled by a desire to tear apart the multiracial democracy that this country is supposed to be.
Half of the country supports abolishing ICE entirely after the horrific killings of Renee Nicole Good, Alex Pretti, and too many others. So, Trump and Miller's demand for another $10 billion of our tax dollars – which could go to schools, roads, and healthcare – should be totally dead on arrival. [3]
Our members of Congress have a job: act as a check on the president. If we let them keep funding these abuses instead, it'll be a green light for Trump and his cronies to escalate even further – at a moment when our country absolutely can't afford it.
This is a defining moment. The Senate must refuse to fund ICE until we get real accountability, real consequences, and real change.
Congress can't sign off on another blank check to this rogue agency. Join us to tell the Senate: Reject more ICE funding without accountability >>
Thanks for all you do,
