| Folks, I'm sick of the two sets of rules in this country – one for the rich and well-connected, and one for everyone else. And I'm angry when I see politicians like my opponent, Jon Husted, protect their billionaire donors at all costs. Here's what happened: Husted received more than $116,000 in donations from Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirator Leslie Wexner. Then last week, Wexner testified before Congress about his relationship with Epstein and admitted to backing Husted, saying, "I'm sure I helped him. I helped him politically." And it gets worse. Husted didn't just take Wexner's money – he accepted a maximum donation just weeks before voting to block the release of the Epstein files. You do the math. This is why when people say the system is rigged, they're right. Politically connected insiders avoid consequences as victims are pushed aside. Billionaires get tax breaks while working families pay more for health insurance. And elites do whatever the hell they want while regular folks are told to just be grateful and "earn more." Ohioans deserve better. I've spent my career holding powerful interests accountable, and I'm not stopping anytime soon. But I need your help. If you believe the rich and powerful shouldn't get special treatment – and that the truth shouldn't be hidden – please chip in $10 today to split with Kirsten Gillibrand to help us flip this seat in Ohio and bring accountability back to the Senate. Thank you. Sherrod Brown |
