Keeping track of all the big elections this year?

Some of the key races on our radar

We get it, Pamela.

With so many vital elections this year, it can be hard to keep track of which candidates need the most urgent support — and which races could make the greatest impact on people's lives.

But if you're looking for a one-stop-shop to boost pro-voter champions on the ballot in 2026 and beyond, here's why a donation to Fair Fight would go a long way right now:

We zoom in on the elections that will make the biggest difference to defend the freedom to vote, including downballot races that don't always get the spotlight.

This year in Georgia, we're fighting to flip the State House from red to blue, keep an election denier from winning the Secretary of State's race, win critical local elections that determine who oversees elections, and re-elect Senator Jon Ossoff.

We're also supporting Scott Colom's U.S. Senate campaign in Mississippi and will help mission-aligned candidates in Louisiana so we can continue building pro-voter political power across the South.

And with special elections and potential runoffs occurring nearly every month this year leading up to November, the financial support we receive today will help inform how much we can invest for the rest of 2026.

Make a donation to Fair Fight today, and we'll put it to work so we can elect Democracy Champions up and down the ballot and help make sure voters are able to make their voices heard in free and fair elections.

Thanks to dedicated grassroots donors, we're able to help elect pro-voter candidates through targeted voter outreach, financial support, technical assistance, volunteer mobilization, and close coordination with coalition partners.

And just in the past year, we've helped deliver big wins, including:

  • A political earthquake in Georgia: Democrats won both Public Service Commission seats by historic +25 point margins in 2025's statewide elections — in a battleground state where races are usually decided by a few thousand votes.

  • Eight victories in competitive Georgia municipal races where local leadership directly shapes voting access decisions.

  • Flipping a critical Cobb County Commission seat to restore a 3-2 Democratic majority and put pro-democracy leadership back in charge of overseeing the County's Board of Elections — with direct implications for election administration and voter access.

  • Flipping Georgia's State House District 121, which Donald Trump won by 12 points in 2024. Now we're one step closer to flipping the State House this year, which requires 10 pickups — fewer than the number Democrats flipped in 2018.

  • Working in a coalition to help add Democratic seats to the Mississippi legislature for the first time in decades and flip nine local seats across strategically selected cities and key jurisdictions — including the election of the first Black mayors of Horn Lake and Brookhaven.

The work we did in 2025 positioned Fair Fight to scale in 2026. We've tested new tools, deepened partnerships, expanded our reach, and proven we can win even when the odds are stacked against us. We've got a proven model. And every dollar we're able to put towards this winning approach in 2026 will help ensure free and fair elections for years to come.

Help combat voter suppression and help elect voting rights champions with a donation today.

In solidarity,

The Fair Fight Team
