Trump's federal agencies, like the FBI and NSA, can freely troll through the private emails and texts swept up in mass data collections under Section 702. Demand Progress joined dozens of organizations and advocates to urge Congress to pass bipartisan fixes to this core mechanism of the mass surveillance state, including closing giant privacy loopholes that leave dangerous powers in the hands of the Trump regime.
