Hi folks, it's Sherrod. We got great news: A poll shows me leading my Republican opponent Jon Husted – 49% to 48%. First, thank you. We owe this lead to the thousands of folks throughout the country who have had my back since day one of this race. This early momentum is a strong sign that our message is resonating. And The Cook Political Report has even increased our odds of winning. But here's the problem: My opponent's billionaire donors and dark money super PACs are determined to crush our pro-worker movement – because they all saw this poll too. My last race set the record for the most expensive Senate race in Ohio history – and in the entire country. Now, they're ready to pour hundreds of millions into this special election to buy this seat for Jon Husted. We have to fight back, folks. My opponent and his Epstein co-conspirator backers know that we have what it takes to flip this seat, but it could all come down to resources. That's why we set a goal to raise $28,000 before midnight to keep up our momentum, and I'm personally asking you to help us reach it.
