We made a difficult decision

Hi folks, Tammy Baldwin here.

Our campaign just made a risky decision to put even more money behind our ads -- even though the funds weren't in the budget.

It wasn't an easy decision. But it was a necessary one after my self-funding, megamillionaire opponent and his GOP allies relentlessly targeted me with $80 million worth of misleading, nasty attack ads.

They can't sell my out-of-state, out-of-touch opponent to Wisconsinites, so they're trying to tear me down instead. Just turn on any TV in Wisconsin and you'll know what I'm talking about...

Their ad blitz proves to be working too -- with the recent polls showing Eric Hovde taking the lead for the very first time in this toss-up race.

If we can't make up this unexpected deficit in our budget, we could have to pull back our ad reservations or make cuts to our critical voter outreach efforts just days before the votes are tallied.

But we risk losing this race if Republicans continue to outspend us on the airwaves, so I'm hoping you can help us close the gap:

Can you split a donation between my campaign and Chuck Schumer to help us respond to the flood of Republican attacks I'm facing? Losing this race would cost Democrats control of the Senate.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split evenly between Chuck Schumer and Tammy Baldwin:

$10 →

$25 →
$50 →

This grassroots team has never let me down before, and I know I can count on you now. Thanks for having my back.

--Tammy
