Violence and deprivation are all that Trump has to offer the world, Pamela:
More than a dozen U.S. servicemembers, hundreds of children, and thousands more people across Iran, Lebanon, and beyond have been killed in Trump's illegal war. And while Trump and Hegseth demand 200 BILLION more taxpayer dollars to fund this violence, people in the U.S. are facing rising costs everywhere from the gas pump to the grocery store.
Trump's unauthorized actions are those of a dictator, a wannabe king. But no matter how hard he tries to tear it down, he still can't change the fact that we live in a democracy — where we, the people, have power.
That's why, next Saturday, March 28, Win Without War is joining millions of people and partner organizations across the movement to say "No Kings! No War!" in a massive, nonviolent show of resistance to authoritarian rule. This will be the biggest No Kings Day yet, with more than 3,000 events planned across the country.

Trump is counting on our exhaustion. He is counting on the news cycle moving so fast that outrage burns out before it becomes action. This breakneck speed is meant to erode our resolve — wearing us down until we accept a White House that treats human lives as expendable, taxpayer dollars as a slush fund for more weapons and war, and an affordability crisis making it impossible for millions to make ends meet as someone else's problem.
Unless we come together to show that people across the country reject the world Trump is building, he will take our silence as permission.
Last June, the first No Kings Day events brought millions of people into the streets, sending a clear message to Trump that this country belongs to its people, not to one man's unchecked ambition. In October, the next No Kings Day shattered turnout records with 7 million joining more than 2,700 events across the country.
Now, as Trump doubles down on a disastrous new endless war, we're prepared to go even bigger.
Research shows that to successfully defeat authoritarian movements, 3.5% of the population needs to mobilize consistently, visibly, and relentlessly. In the United States, that means 12 million people — which means we have work to do to reach the threshold that history tells us can truly turn the tide.
It will require each and every one of us to show up — and to bring someone with us. Can we count you in, Pamela?
The simple truth is that the horrors we're witnessing won't cease if organizations like ours and people like you stay on the sidelines. So, however and wherever you're able, we hope you'll join us in rejecting Trump and his deadly brand of authoritarianism.
Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
