We must stop ICE from interfering with our elections

Pamela – the 2026 midterm elections are in just a few short months and Democrats are already sounding the alarm about possible voter intimidation. MAGA operatives want to deploy ICE agents to polling locations across the country during the midterm elections. They clearly want to intimidate voters, especially in immigrant communities and communities of color, and create fear at the ballot box. Secretaries of State throughout the country can already start direct actions keeping ICE away from polling places and protecting voters from both intimidation and violence. Protect our elections from intimidation and violence → We can't trust an election where ICE controls who can – and can't – vote. We know that ICE doesn't actually care about immigration. They're actually Trump's gestapo, murdering and intimidating his opponents and enemies. ICE agents don't belong at polling locations. Ever. Extremists continue to peddle the lie that noncitizen voting is common, when in fact, it's an exceedingly rare occurrence. The mere presence of ICE at or near a polling station will have a chilling effect; many eligible voters would stay home out of fear. This is voter suppression by design. States can start ensuring that polling places are safe and ICE-free. Write to your Secretary of State now to say that ICE has no role at the polls.
