FIRST: Trump's FBI raided an elections office in Georgia's largest county and seized ballots and records from the 2020 presidential election — inspired by debunked conspiracy theories about his loss. THEN: A major New York Times investigation connected the raid to Trump's unconstitutional threats to take over elections. They identified swing states like Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Arizona as places where MAGA could weaponize disinformation about 2020 to "try to change election rules, take over local voting systems or otherwise find ways to give Republicans unfair advantages." NOW: Sure enough, POLITICO then reported that the Trump Regime obtained 2020 election records from Arizona's largest county — another signal of their attempts to lay the groundwork for election interference in key battlegrounds. All in all, it's clear that we're up against an escalating national strategy: manufacture false allegations about election irregularities, use them to justify federal intervention, and shift control over election administration away from local officials.
