Dear MoveOn member,
While millions of Americans struggle to afford groceries, rent, and health care, Donald Trump just launched an expensive, illegal invasion of Venezuela—and he's already eyeing expanding the attacks to Colombia, Cuba, and other countries.1
Trump's escalation is about money and power. Full stop. He's seized Venezuela's oil and plans to "run the country" indefinitely.2 As if he wasn't already running the U.S. into the ground.
Health care premiums are doubling, tripling, or worse for millions of Americans this week.3 Families are choosing between filling prescriptions and paying rent. Grocery costs are through the roof.4 And instead of paring back his tariffs and tax breaks for the ultra wealthy to help address the affordability crisis, Trump could launch an illegal, expensive, and dangerous forever war.
And it won't stop with Venezuela. Trump has already issued warnings to Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, and others.5 His National Security Strategy lists countries across Latin America as potential targets.6 The war could spread rapidly, draining American resources while our own communities suffer.
We need to build loud, visible opposition to Trump's forever wars NOW—and demand our government invest in American families, not illegal wars.
That's why we printed a big batch of these FREE "Fund Health Care Not Warfare" stickers—and are offering them for free, while supplies last.

Every dollar spent on imperial warfare is a dollar stolen from:
- Universal health care
- Affordable housing
- Child care and education
- Infrastructure and clean water
- Addressing the climate crisis
How does invading Venezuela lower grocery prices for struggling families? How does seizing another country's oil get Americans affordable health care? How does launching forever wars help parents afford rent?
The answer is simple: It doesn't. These wars serve oil executives and defense contractors—not working Americans.
Congress has been largely silent. The media is slow to sound the alarm. It's up to us to make clear that Americans want our tax dollars invested at home, not in illegal military occupations abroad designed to enrich Trump and fossil fuel executives.
Click here to get your free "Fund Health Care Not Warfare" sticker today. Display it proudly. Every sticker is a visible reminder of what we're fighting for: a government that prioritizes its people over imperial conquest.
Thanks for all you do.
