Dear Andra,
You are one of MoveOn's vitally important recurring donors, and we wanted to take a moment to share some powerful highlights of what your support has made possible in recent weeks—and why this moment truly matters.
Across Minnesota and around the country, communities are facing an escalating crisis as ICE continues violent, lawless raids that are ripping families apart and terrorizing neighborhoods.
While Trump and his supporters push fear and authoritarianism, MoveOn members are creating one of the strongest grassroots responses we've seen in years. Here are some highlights of what you've made possible:
Standing Up to ICE'S Violence … Together
After the ICE killing of Renee Nicole Good, MoveOn members took action. In less than two days, we, along with our partners, launched more than 1,300 ICE Out for Good events nationwide, giving people a way to honor the lives lost and demand accountability from elected officials. A few days later, we organized a rally and vigil outside of the Customs and Border Protection headquarters in Washington, D.C., which was attended by more than 1,000 community leaders, activists, and members of Congress who are committed to holding ICE accountable. Across the country, neighbors showed up not just to protest but to call for fundamental change. Thousands braved the cold to send a clear message: ICE's presence in our communities is unacceptable, and we will not remain silent in the face of violence.

Empowering Hundreds of Thousands With Know Your Rights Tools
To protect immigrant communities and counter ICE's abuses, we partnered with allies to host one of the largest virtual Know Your Rights trainings in recent history. More than 200,000 people have already watched and learned how to safely document ICE encounters, assert their rights, and support their neighbors.
Trainers cover not only the legal basics—like when a warrant is required and when you can lawfully say no—but also techniques for de-escalation, documentation, and rapid neighborhood support. Such trainings are part of a broader movement in which communities are developing rapid-response networks and buddy systems to protect one another.
That means your support isn't just funding another webinar—it's helping to build a sustained community defense infrastructure that strengthens relationships, can protect lives, and turns fear into collective power.
Turning Up the Pressure On Congress
Congress is currently negotiating funding for Trump's Department of Homeland Security—an agency carrying out deadly raids, tearing children from families, and trampling our constitutional rights. MoveOn members have sent over 50,000 letters and made nearly 20,000 calls to Congress demanding that lawmakers use this funding debate as leverage to rein in ICE and its violence and lawlessness. A temporary, stopgap measure currently funds DHS through February 13.
Our grassroots pressure is helping push Senate leaders to hold the line against massive new funding for Trump's deportation machine—and making clear that voters are watching.
No ICE at the Super Bowl
Your generosity turned Super Bowl LX into a moment of accountability instead of fear.
For months, the Trump administration had been projecting and threatening to hold a massive ICE operation at the Super Bowl. MoveOn sprang into action, leading a pressure campaign against the NFL to publicly denounce DHS's plans and to reveal what security measures the league would take to make the event safe for ticket holders, stadium workers, and the surrounding community. Our "No ICE at the Super Bowl" petition garnered over 195,000 signatures, as fans, families, and immigrant rights supporters added their voices calling on the NFL to get off the sidelines.
A MoveOn-led rally, press conference, and petition delivery outside the NFL's New York headquarters in February applied real pressure on the league to act. And in response, a few hours after our event, the NFL publicly confirmed that ICE would not conduct enforcement operations during Super Bowl week.

This was a huge victory—and it's a perfect example of what people-powered pressure can accomplish.
None of this happens without grassroots donors like you.
Because you give when you can, MoveOn is able to move fast, organize nationally, support local leaders on the ground, and confront Trump's authoritarian agenda at every level—in the streets, in Congress, in corporate boardrooms, and at the ballot box.
From all of us at MoveOn, thank you for standing up for our neighbors, our democracy, and our shared future.
MoveOn is funded by grassroots donors like you, giving what you can when you can. None of our work would be possible without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your steadfast support.
