Dear MoveOn member, Senate Republican Leader John Thune just unleashed on MoveOn members, saying Democrats in Congress are demanding ICE reforms just "to satisfy MoveOn."1 If Senator Thune thinks he can bully MoveOn into silence, he's dead wrong. He f'd around. And now, he's about to find out. Funding for DHS runs out in three days, which means the fight is about to enter its most critical phase. MoveOn is launching billboards in Sen. Thune's backyard in South Dakota and in Washington, D.C., to call out Republicans for letting ICE into schools and churches and allowing them to run around like thugs. It's the latest tactic in our ongoing and long-term campaign to get ICE out of our communities. But we need your help. Three days to prove that backing down will cost them more than standing strong. Republicans are betting Democrats will cave. Trump is counting on the pressure breaking us.
