When Beto decided to run for Governor, we knew one thing from the start: This would be a campaign of, by, and for the people of Texas.
That's why on Friday, we reached out and asked what YOU wanted to see from this campaign.
We want to thank everyone who took the time to answer this survey and share their stories. The policies we're seeing from Greg Abbott endanger everyone in different ways, so it's important that we hear from as many people as possible.
We want to share some of the survey results with you. But first, will you chip in $3 or more to help get this campaign off the ground?
Your answers made it clear that Texans are ready for change and willing to work for it:
- 79.5% of you said you want Beto to focus on expanding voting rights.
- 73.4% of you said ensuring everyone has accessible and affordable health care was one of the most important issues to you.
- 80.0% said our campaign should prioritize registering new Texas voters.
- And there was one clear message in the comments: WIN!
Reading through these responses reminds us why this campaign is so important. Texans deserve a leader who will fight to protect their rights and bring more people into our democracy.
We hear you, and we promise that the voices of Texans will guide every decision we make on this campaign.
