We're less than 12 hours out from the end of our first week on the campaign trail, and we need to bring in as many grassroots donations as possible before midnight.
You're an important part of this movement to elect Beto as Texas' next governor, so I have to ask. Will you chip in your first donation to end Week 1 with the momentum necessary to fire Greg Abbott?
Here's why this is so important: Before Beto announced for governor, Greg Abbott was building his fundraising machine. He already has a $55 million war chest ready, but our people-powered movement can outpace him.
Abbott's record speaks for itself:
→ Instead of updating our electricity grid, he's been cozying up with industry mega-donors.
→ Instead of protecting Texans from the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, he's made access to abortion, a basic health care procedure, illegal for many.
→ Instead of expanding our democracy, he signed one of the most extreme voter suppression bills in the country into law.
The fringe policies and incompetence that we see in Texas today need to stop. And by chipping in $3 or more before midnight, you're directly helping to defeat Abbott and elect a leader ready to represent ALL Texans.
