Pamela,
Today marks the height of spooky season -- and Trump's haunting return to the White House is giving working families nightmares.
In addition to his government shutdown wreaking havoc on American families, household electricity bills are up 11% since Trump took office. And they're only going to get worse with continued attacks on clean energy projects capable of reducing costs -- since Trump's election, 307 clean energy projects and companies have canceled or delayed projects, laid off workers, or lost federal funding -- stalling $52.48 billion in investment and 158,816 clean energy jobs across the country.
From Texas (where over 52,000 jobs have vanished) to Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona, communities are losing out on good-paying jobs and clean, affordable energy -- all because Trump's chaos and shutdown threats are scaring off investors and stalling progress.
This is the chilling effect of Trump's reckless agenda. His attacks on clean energy and his obsession with helping his Big Oil donors are grinding progress to a halt -- leaving families behind while billionaires and fossil fuel executives cash in.
This Halloween, the real horror story isn't about ghosts or monsters -- it's about lost jobs, stalled progress, and a future being stolen by greed and chaos.
We've made it easy -- take action to hold Trump and MAGA Republicans accountable for their clean energy failures today. Trump's chaos is putting our economy, safety, and clean energy future at risk -- and it's up to us to fight back. Together, we can make sure his energy nightmare doesn't become our lasting reality.
Thanks for standing with us,
