The consequences of a man-made starvation crisis in Gaza will reverberate for generations, Pamela.[1]
Today, the Israeli government continues to restrict fuel, water, and food from millions of people despite mounting evidence of famine. Meanwhile, Israeli military bombs rain down, even on supposedly "safe" areas where people were told to flee. Nowhere is safe — and millions of people, including many children, are scared and hungry.
And as Gaza starves, dozens of hostages taken by Hamas have languished for 665 days.
The terrifying reality is that it could all get worse. Despite the inspiring, impassioned global outcry against this horrifying violence, we are hearing reports that the Israeli government is considering — with continued U.S. support — escalating the crisis by annexing parts of Gaza.
We, and all the people pushing for an end to this violence, are making progress, but we need to be faster to create the political solutions that will save lives — and we need your support today.

With each passing day, a growing list of members of Congress, organizations, diplomats, celebrities, academics, and activists like you are demanding an end to this brutal war.
That includes 27 Senators — more than half of Senate Democrats — who supported an effort to block the sale of key offensive U.S. weapons to the Israeli government.[2] It's a number that would have been unthinkable mere months ago.
But a lasting ceasefire will still take more — more activism, more advocacy, and more resources. At Win Without War, we know that a single brave Senator can build a bridge or grind things to a halt to get what they want. This is why we are pushing tooth and nail for more Senators to push for peace — but that's just one part. Depending on how much we raise today, here's just a snapshot of what else we can do:
- $3,000 will help us blanket D.C. with posters, so decision-makers can't ignore our demands that they use every ounce of U.S. leverage to end the violence.
- $5,000 pays for ads in major newspapers across key cities, reminding lawmakers and their constituents of the popular public support for a ceasefire and expanded aid delivery.
- $10,000 can bring Palestinian and Israeli peace activists to the U.S. to speak directly with lawmakers, public officials, and movement leaders.
- $20,000 fuels mobile billboards that confront key members of Congress in their home states over the August recess, reminding them of the urgent opportunity to save lives.
It's not just the bombs that we're worried about, Pamela — we're afraid that despair and complacency will allow the violence to become our new normal.
That's why our community gives us so much hope. You are the people who refuse to look away. You are the ones who will help build the world we all want and deserve: One where we all live and thrive without the threat of violence.
Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
