Two joint resolutions of disapproval are in play: S.J.Res.34 would prohibit proposed sales of thousands of heavy, 1,000-pound bombs and Joint Direct Attack Munition guidance kits, while S.J.Res.41 would stop a sale of 20,000 fully automatic rifles. The Israeli government has a track record of using weapons like these and others against civilians in Gaza and the West Bank.[1]
