Pamela,
Last year, Trader Joe's teamed up with Elon Musk's SpaceX to request that the Supreme Court declare the National Labor Relations Act―the legal backbone of nearly a century of union organizing―unconstitutional. They don't just want to stop our union―they want to stop all unions.
Trader Joe's United and our supporters delivered a petition with more than 100,000 signatures from Trader Joe's customers, and sent more than 20,000 messages directly to CEO Bryan Palbaum asking them to drop the lawsuit.
Trader Joe's response? NOTHING.
Trader Joe's is fighting our independent union so hard that they're willing to bring down the entire legal structure that unions have operated under. We need your help to fight back―can you chip in $5 to our legal fund today?

For many years, Trader Joe's had a reputation as a great employer. However, the company has shown its true colors as we started organizing stores across the country.
Since our first union drive in 2022, Trader Joe's has rolled out the kind of union-busting campaigns you'd expect from Amazon or SpaceX at every store that's filed for an election. Trader Joe's has withheld benefits from union stores, fired union supporters, spread misinformation about our union, interrogated workers, and more. TJ's legal assault on the NLRB is a transparent attempt to avoid being held accountable for their unlawful actions.
Trader Joe's United has still been winning! A big part of our successful pitch to workers who are on the fence is that our union is 100% worker-led. We are the union.
Lawyers are expensive. Can you chip in $5 to help us fight for our union, and make Trader Joe's a great place to work?
In solidarity,
Trader Joe's United
