I have thought on it and prayed about it, and I have decided. I'm running.

Hello, Pamela, I'm Roy Cooper, and I am running to be the next U.S. Senator from North Carolina. I believe that our brightest days are still ahead, but we have to work together to fix what's broken in Washington. Politicians in DC are running up our debt, ripping away our health care, disrespecting our veterans, cutting help for the poor, and putting our Medicare at risk — just to give tax breaks to the very rich. I've had enough. We have to change things, and I'm ready to serve again, but this time in Washington. Together, we can win this Senate race and help Democrats take back the majority. Washington can look like this, too. It's time to elect leaders who are ready to do the hard work of strengthening our middle class, restoring voting rights and reproductive rights, protecting our environment, and ensuring every child has the excellent education they deserve.
