The workers who power the New York Times' interactive features like games, its cooking app, and yes, the election night needle, are on strike for fair pay, reasonable remote/hybrid work restrictions, and the same "just cause" job protections that the rest of the newsroom has had for decades. The Tech Guild is asking readers to honor the digital picket line and not play popular NYT Games such as Wordle and Connections as well as not use the NYT Cooking app. Want to save your streaks without being a scab? Send a message to New York Times CEO Meredith Kopit Levien and Publisher Arthur Sulzberger demanding that they give tech workers a fair deal!
