DC Republicans have opened the floodgates. It has begun, and it won't stop here!
We just got word that a dark-money conservative group with ties to Mitch McConnell is spending nearly $10 million here in Michigan to beat us, starting right after the primary election in August. It will be a barrage of digital, TV, and radio ads flooding the state.
And they're just getting started.
While the ads haven't been released publicly yet, their history gives us very good reason to believe that they will attack Elissa directly.
This isn't the first time this year that out-of-state Republicans have torn into Elissa, and it won't be the last.
With less than 6 months until Election Day, we're gearing up to make our own big decisions, around ads, staff, field operations, and more. Attacks like these from outside forces influence our decisions, and make it all the more important that we're able to reach voters with Elissa's positive message.
