A super PAC supporting David McCormick announced it will run $30 million worth of TV ads in Pennsylvania, in what the Times calls "a major escalation in the campaign to unseat Senator Bob Casey."

While David McCormick's billionaire backers have already spent millions of dollars trying to buy Pennsylvania's Senate seat by promoting their out-of-state candidate, their new ads will be some of the first negative TV ads of this race. They're going to spend tens of millions of dollars attacking Bob, misleading voters, and spreading lies about his record.
We can't let these attacks go unanswered, especially when it will be one of the largest pro-GOP ad buys anywhere in the country. The truth is, Republicans know that their path to taking the Senate runs right through Pennsylvania. That's why they're trying so hard to tear Bob down.
