Clown Show in the Capitol

 

Hey Team, it’s Rep. Jasmine Crockett.

We are currently experiencing one of the most unproductive congressional sessions in American history.

Why is that? Because House Republicans are running a clown show in the Capitol.

From the fate of our very democracy to attacks on reproductive rights, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared of what the GOP will do with another term in power.

Before I share more, can you pitch in $3 or whatever you can right now to halt right-wing extremism and support the DCCC’s efforts to reclaim the House for Democrats? We only have to flip FOUR SEATS in November to take back our Majority and ensure hard-working Americans get what they deserve.

Here are just some examples of the GOP buffoonery I’ve witnessed in my freshman term:

🤡 They launched a SHAM impeachment inquiry into President Biden and members of his cabinet.

🤡 They continue to threaten a TOTAL ban on abortion and IVF with NO exceptions, nationwide.

🤡 They’ve tried EVERY trick in the book to usher their leader, convicted felon Donald Trump, back into power.

I know that so many hard-working Americans and their families are hurting right now -- but the pain will only grow deeper if we have incredibly unserious people representing us.

Think about what we can achieve with a Democratic House Majority:

– Expanded voting rights. 🗳️

– Affordable and equitable healthcare. 💪

– An economy that works for everyone. 📈

I’m counting on you to step up today and help put power back in the hands of dedicated servants of the public -- where it belongs.
