Just this year, more than 500 anti-gay and anti-trans bills have been introduced across states and in Congress. Republicans want to backtrack on what little bits of progress the LGBTQ+ community has achieved in the past few decades. It's more clear than ever that our bodily autonomy and our freedoms are on the line. And that means we have to fight to elect candidates who will defend our freedoms and defeat the Republican Party and its attacks on LGBTQ+ communities.

If you participate in a phone bank, you'll get a ton of support and resources to have pivotal conversations and talk to other voters about why you'll turn out to vote this year. From tips and tricks to fun and engaging merchandise to the right language and scripts to hold persuasive conversations with voters, we've got your back! You'll contact key voters in our target states and districts directly while also getting to know fellow MoveOn members in your area. Will you sign up for a phone bank in your community?
Republican politicians want to eradicate LGBTQ+ people, plain and simple. And their quests for power and control over the general public won't stop there. We have to be ready to fight back at the ballot box, and we're laying the groundwork now to mobilize as many people as possible to win in November. Together, we'll tell MAGA Republicans: We're not backing down, and we won't go back in history and backtrack on progress.

MoveOn staff and volunteers will support you every step of the way and help recruit fellow MoveOn members to join you, or you can host a private event with friends and family—whatever option makes you most comfortable and poised to make an impact.
There are so many issues at stake in this election, and we have only just begun to see what happens when Republicans out-organize us. We're facing a choice in November: Elect Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans or vote for Democrats. It's us versus them.
