Good news: Our campaign has more individual donations, by far, than any of our Republican opponents at this point in the race. We are funded largely by the support of people like you and I am very proud of that fact.
Bad news: the pace of our donations has slowed down considerably since March. That's not great. Because while we may have more donations than our potential opponents, they rely on outside spending and slowing down means we can't keep up.
Look at this chart — it is very real, and very transparent:
Blue is money raised, the purple line is number of donations. The green bar is recurring donations.
We need to drag those bars and that line up, not down. If we don't we could be in serious jeopardy — especially with so many undecided voters and Republicans running ads introducing themselves in a contested primary.
I've said it before, our goals are not arbitrary. They are what we need to reach to win. And there is no reaching them without the support of people like you. So please:
