I told you so -- and now I’m coming to you to ask for your help and $1.   I know you’re not supposed to admit that you like saying “I told you so,” but I have found it's one of the few pleasures that improves with age.    Before last fall's election, I said that if the Democrats won the Majority in the House, they would not only prevent bad things from happening, like: the repeal of health care, the dismantling of financial reform, and Donald’s foolish, wasteful wall.   But that the new Majority would also demonstrate what our country is capable of doing to improve our lives.   And they’ve delivered.   The record compiled by the Democratic House in just six months makes it one of the most productive times in our history. And we all look forward to that Majority being joined after next year by government partners that can turn this promise into reality.    But that must be anchored in their being re-elected in the face of the furious, lavishly funded right-wing assault that has already begun.    The high-quality work the Democratic Majority has been doing provides a strong platform on which they can defend themselves.
