Just getting home after the rally we held outside the Clint Border Patrol facility. At the same time that I am so angry and heartbroken about Trump's cruel treatment of children, I am also filled with hope that -- together -- we can transcend any injustice, any obstacle. Seeing everyone out there in the heat today reminded me that working together, we can keep the pressure on and secure change.
That's really what this campaign is all about -- bringing people in, bringing people together, and building a new kind of politics that will overcome each of the challenges before us as a country. But if we want this kind of campaign to succeed, we have to meet each one of our goals. Tonight is our official FEC deadline, and we're working hard to raise $600,000 online by midnight.
We will only beat Trump, stop his inhumane policies, rise above deep division, and confront our greatest challenges if all of us come together at this moment in history.
When no one is written off, no one taken for granted, and when everyone is included -- there is no stopping this country and there is no stopping us. That's the campaign and that's the country we are building together. But tonight is an important hurdle that we absolutely have to clear.
So I have one question for you: Are you in?
