Hi — Beto's campaign manager here.
It's the end of the quarter. I know you're getting a lot of emails. This deadline is important for us — and every campaign. I'm working every minute to make sure we hit our $600,000 goal. But while I keep my eyes on our numbers, I want you to know how Beto is spending these final hours.
Most candidates will be spending every last hour before this deadline on the phones, calling big donors to ask for money. That's not how Beto operates.
Instead, Beto is organizing a major rally at the Clint Border Patrol station to demand justice for immigrant children detained in cruel, inhumane conditions. He's kicking off a canvass so people know their rights in case of ICE raids.
This is exactly the kind of leadership we need to see matched up against Trump in 2020. We're taking the fight right to him. And that's why meeting this goal is so critical:
As Trump continues to sow chaos at the border, Beto will stay focused on defining the path forward — not trying to score political points.
I'm proud every day to work for Beto, and he's showing everyone why. He will always work for people — for families who arrived in this country yesterday and for those who've been here for decades — to help solve the most important issues of our time.
Thank you for being in this together,
Jen O'Malley Dillon
Campaign Manager
Beto for America
