Students and parents are demanding change. And yet, I continue to watch Republicans refuse to act. Today, as activists descend on DC for change, I am asking you to join me in demanding Republicans act on gun safety legislation. Deep in the pockets of the gun lobby, Republicans in Congress continue to stall on legislation rather than listen to the heartbreaking stories of families losing their loved-ones to gun violence.   Instead of acting, they swear that guns aren’t the problem. I’ve watched them even promote more guns in our schools and churches. It terrifies me.   If I can get 2,OOO,OOO signatures by midnight, Republicans will have no choice but to join us to protect our communities from gun violence.   I need you to add your name to tell Republicans it’s time to end gun violence.
