Our 2025 Impact
Here's what we accomplished together this year.
Pamela,
2025 was a year of defending democracy and voter power in Florida. And at every step, you were with us. Floridians showed up, spoke out, and fought back against attacks on our rights.
Because of your engagement, we made a real impact.
Here's some of what we achieved together in 2025:
We fought anti-voter legislation, and won. When lawmakers attempted to push through new voting restrictions, thousands of Floridians took action. Because of you, those efforts were unsuccessful and no new voting laws passed in 2025.
We advanced the Florida Voting Rights Act. For the first time ever, the Florida Voting Rights Act was heard in committee. This was a real milestone and it happened because of constant advocacy and action from voters like you.
We expanded Election Protection across multiple local elections. Our volunteers were trained to help voters navigate barriers, spot problems, and ensure their ballots were cast and counted, providing support in English, Spanish and Haitian-Creole.
We responded to voter issues in real time. Through the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and the nonpartisan Florida Command Center, we helped resolve problems and protect voting rights on Election Day.
We reached Floridians across the state. This year, we delivered accessible information on voting, redistricting, dark money, and the real risks of an Article V convention, reaching voters in every corner of the state.
We strengthened partnerships across Florida. Working with the Florida Election Protection Coalition, State Voices Florida, Access the Vote, and grassroots partners statewide, we reached more voters and communities than ever before.
We honored the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. Together with community partners, we used this moment to educate, inspire, and recommit to the fight for equal access to the ballot.
Pamela, every step we took this year protected the rights, voices, and power of Florida's voters, and we're not slowing down.
2025 proved something important: when we organize, we win. In 2026, we will continue the work.
Thank you for everything you made possible this year. Let's keep building a Florida where every voice is heard and every vote matters.
With gratitude,
Franceska Edouard, Organizer and the team at Common Cause Florida
