The office has diverted more than 33,000 calls from police. New Orleans, Louisiana, introduced a 24/7 citywide mobile response team dispatched through 911 calls, staffed by behavioral health professionals—not law enforcement. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania stopped police from pulling drivers over for minor infractions—decreasing stops for non-safety-related traffic enforcement.  Pamela, these are just a few examples of the progress we can make in Rockledge and around the country.
