Everyone’s talking about Ohio’s Senate race right now. Even JD Vance just came to the Buckeye state to rally the GOP base, attack Sherrod’s record, and boost our opponent, Jon Husted. So we wanted to take a moment to help you cut through the noise.

Here’s what you need to know:

We’re down 3 points in the polls. The very first Ohioans are getting their ballots this month, so this couldn't come at a worse time.

Republicans are outspending us 3:1 – and analysts project this is going to be the most expensive Senate race in U.S. history.

Jon Husted is relying on top GOP leaders to get him over the finish line. Just today, he’s holding an event with Ted Cruz to rake in more money. The GOP establishment is flocking to Ohio because they know they can’t hold power without a Husted win.

Expert Nate Silver says this race could decide Senate control. If we don’t reach every grassroots fundraising goal between now and Election Day – including the $300,000 daily goal today – we won’t have the resources to keep pace with the GOP and win.
