Re: the FBI raid on Fulton County’s elections office

BREAKING: "The FBI on Wednesday searched the election office of a Georgia county that has been central to right-wing conspiracy theories over President Donald Trump's 2020 election loss, acting just one week after the Republican leader predicted prosecutions over a contest he has baselessly insisted was tainted by widespread fraud." —Associated Press Pamela, Yesterday, out of all the things the FBI could be focusing on, they decided to raid an elections office in Georgia's most populous county. Because of an election that Donald Trump lost over half a decade ago. For more than five years now, he and his extremist followers have recycled debunked conspiracy theories about Fulton County's 2020 election and spread lies that he actually won. Now federal agents have apparently seized Fulton County's 2020 election ballots and records. Here's what's already clear in this developing situation: the FBI raid fits the pattern of the Trump Regime trying to turn our government into a weapon against Americans, and using our Justice Department to undermine the will of the people. If Trump can manufacture a false record of so-called "problems," he could try to justify seizing control over elections — changing the rules to keep voters away from the ballot box and lock his Republican Party into power. So every day, it becomes more and more critical to elect officials at all levels of government who understand that voters should pick our leaders — our leaders shouldn't get to pick which voters to listen to and which to silence.
