Enough is Enough: Congress Must Impeach Kristi Noem

Impeachment is how Congress must check an out-of-control cabinet member.

DHS under Secretary Noem can be quickly summed up, Pamela: Impunity. Injustice. Slanderous propaganda. Violence.

As out-of-control ICE and CBP agents kill with impunity in our communities, Kristi Noem has proven herself to be utterly unfit to lead the Department of Homeland Security and rein in this violence. Indeed, she's often spurred it on.

We will never get the accountability we deserve so long as Noem is leading DHS, which is why Congress must take matters into its own hands and push her out.

Noem's impeachment won't bring back Renee Good or Alex Pretti. It won't reverse the pain of detention and deportation that Kilmar Abrego Garcia and so many others have suffered through. It won't immediately reform agencies that have conducted military-style raids in Chicago, used preschoolers as "bait" to tear families apart, and continue to terrorize communities across the country.

But impeaching Kristi Noem would be a monumental step toward tearing down Trump and Stephen Miller's violent deportation machine.

We'll continue to turn up the pressure until each and every Trump official is held accountable for their role in this violence. Already, Trump is sidelining the face of so many terrorizing raids, CBP "Commander-at-Large" Gregory Bovino, as the costs of these repugnant policies mount.

But change starts at the top with Kristi Noem, especially in this moment when criticism of her leadership is mounting across the political spectrum.

Sen. John Curtis (R-UT) has said her actions "undermine public trust" and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Noem's response to the shootings while summoning federal officials to testify in front of Congress. 140 representatives (and counting!) are cosponsoring Rep. Robin Kelly's (D-IL) articles of impeachment.

Public pressure can make these calls for impeachment impossible for lawmakers to ignore, which is why we're asking you to send your elected officials a loud and clear message today.

ICE and CBP's recent killings are not isolated flukes — 32 people died in ICE custody in 2025, one of the deadliest years ever. They are part of a broader pattern of Noem operating without accountability and without regard for truth or the safety of the communities her agencies are operating in.

Change won't happen overnight, but accountability needs to start somewhere, and no Trump official is untouchable. Together, through actions big and small, we will chip away towards accountability for a lawless, out-of-control Department of Homeland Security, and a world where people can live without the threat of violence.
