Pamela, Democrats have work to do to rebuild our party around a bold, working-class agenda. And our next DNC chair must be ready to lead that effort. I'm proud to join my colleagues Reps. Greg Casar, Maxwell Frost, and Chris Deluzio in outlining four core principles for the next DNC chair. If you agree this is what our party should prioritize going forward, I hope you'll add your name to this petition today. We believe the next DNC chair must: -
Reform, restructure, and rebrand the party, committing to a year-round presence in all 50 states and a deep analysis of how to reach voters within a fractured information ecosystem. -
Embrace grassroots donors and reject dark money. This means reinstating the 2008 DNC ban on corporate PAC donations and pushing to ban Super PAC spending in our primaries. -
Rebuild our multiracial working-class base by recruiting working-class candidates, embracing real economic populism, and taking on corporate concentration. -
Show real experience turning around organizations, building large coalitions, and winning elections. Now is the time to revitalize our party and build a lasting coalition that can win. If you're with me, please sign on to our petition calling on the next DNC chair to do what's needed to rebuild our party for the working class. In solidarity, Pramila Jayapal |
