At midnight, we will close the books on our End of Year fundraising deadline. So I wanted to give you a quick progress update on our fundraising goal:
When we close the books, we will update our budget based on how much we raised and then we'll get to work using those donations to launch the 350 Solidarity Fund to train climate activists on building renewable energy in their communities. Unfortunately, right now we're still falling short of our biggest fundraising goal of the year.
But I have good news too — a generous donor just reached out to say they're MATCHING ALL DONATIONS from now until our deadline tonight. That's incredible — because it means every single donation we receive today will go twice as far for the climate.
So with the clock racing toward midnight, I am asking you humbly:
Our job between right now and midnight tonight is not just to raise as much money as we can, but to generate as many donations as we possibly can. Because when you are taking on the fossil fuel industry — the biggest threat to our planet and our communities — it means everyone has a role to play.
We only have one chance to defeat the fossil fuel industry — and that is together. So thank you for chipping in before this deadline ends tonight. It means a lot.
