Pamela, before Trump even steps foot into the Oval Office next month, we already know his intentions to roll back the climate progress that President Biden delivered. Today, our country's clean energy plan is delivering more than $372 billion in clean energy investments to communities across the country. Right now, there are more than 330,000 clean energy jobs at risk. Those jobs are flowing to every corner of the United States -- including in many states and congressional districts represented by Republicans. And that gives us a path to tell a very clear story: Climate investment is good politics. Period. Investment in clean energy is good for American jobs and our economy. And rolling back climate spending will harm rural and working-class families the most. That's our focus for the start of Trump's second term: Make examples of climate progress tangible so that it's clear to everyone what it would mean to undo it.
