Pamela -

We've sent out a lot more fundraising emails this past month, and I wanted to let you know why:

350's current funding model relies on our tax-exempt status. With Donald Trump on his way to the White House, we can no longer take that status as a given. In fact, we're pretty worried that it will be under threat.1

Can you make a contribution today to help 350 fight Trump and his attacks on our climate?

CONTRIBUTE $3.50

We can't be sure what form these attacks will take in the coming months, but we do know they will come.

Trump plans to repeal major climate legislation, remove any protected status rules on federal lands and waters to allow for more drilling and mining, rescind EPA standards, and remove the U.S. once again from the Paris Climate Agreement. And that's only the beginning.

Our colleagues and allies in other parts of the world have told us that the charitable status of organizations like ours is often the first thing to go when authoritarian regimes bent on squashing dissent (and propping up extractive industries) take over.

Our work is too important to let that stop us. Can you help us Trump-proof our funding model for the year ahead?

We don't have a huge budget, but the vast majority of our funding depends on our tax-exempt status. Organizations with many smaller donors are more resilient than those that rely on grants or big gifts — that's why we've been emailing folks like you more often to ask for your support.

We don't need you to give a lot — and if you can't afford it, by all means don't worry about it — but this year we could really use your investment in our long-term future.

If you give by December 31, your donation will be tax deductible. Chip in $3.50 while you can.

We've got a lot of work to do in 2025, and we're fired up to play a crucial role in resisting Trump's dangerous agenda of climate denial and fossil fuel expansion.

But we need your help to make sure we're around to do it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Olivia Langhoff
