President Biden and Senate Democrats have less than a month to confirm 23 federal judges. If they do not act, the new Republican-majority Senate and Donald Trump will assume power and fill these roles with people who will do his bidding and further advance the MAGA agenda across the country. It's critical that they do everything in their power to confirm as many executive and judicial vacancies before it's too late.

Dial 833-487-4445 to urge your senators to prioritize confirming judicial nominees while they still can. This is the last chance to confirm judges we know will protect our rights before Trump and Senate Republicans start stacking our courts with extremists again. The Senate needs to be creative in their efforts. Whether it's working weekends or staying late, confirming judges must be a priority. 

When you call, you can say something like this: "Hi! My name is ____, and I'm a constituent. I am calling to urge the Senator to do everything in their power to confirm as many judicial vacancies as possible before the end of the year. If these positions aren't filled now, they will be by Donald Trump and the future Republican-led Senate, jeopardizing our freedoms and democracy. Please prioritize confirming the 23 vacant positions before it's too late. Thank you."

Donald Trump and his allies strategically confirmed a record number of judges during his first presidency—shaping a conservative judiciary that has time and time again advanced the MAGA movement and stripped away our rights. Among them is Judge Aileen Cannon, who shut down Trump's classified documents case, and a Texas judge who attempted to overrule the FDA approval of the abortion pill mifepristone.^1,2 In the end, these justices were sworn in not to uphold the Constitution and our country's laws but to unwaveringly support the MAGA agenda and protect Trump from accountability. 

But with President Biden still in the White House and a Democratic majority in the Senate, they have the power to fill as many vacancies as possible in the next few weeks. It'll just take pressure from all of us urging our senators to prioritize it and move swiftly.

We know from history that Donald Trump will waste no time in filling the judiciary with extremist judges who will protect him and put policies in place that are against the values of the American people. Trump packed the courts with 234 right-wing judges, including the three Supreme Court justices that ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade. These judges have lifetime appointments, and Trump has nominated younger judges—so we could have Trump-packed courts for decades to come.³

President Biden and the Senate must act swiftly to confirm the 23 remaining judges now! This is our last chance to act to confirm judges who will help protect our fundamental rights and serve as the last line of defense to uphold our nation's laws and the Constitution.
