| Pamela, Workers at Amazon facilities around the country are striking―and the union is fighting back. We knew that this would happen, and we know that we can count on the movement to have our backs. Amazon fired Ryan Brown, president of the NC union Carolina Amazonians for Solidarity & Empowerment (CAUSE). Ryan is a powerhouse organizer who is close to making the RDU1 facility near the Raleigh-Durham area the first unionized Amazon warehouse in the south. CAUSE has been operating on a shoestring budget, and now Ryan is unemployed just before the holidays.
