Listen -- I don't like the fact that I'm emailing you about Donald Trump any more than you do. But here's the thing: He's headlining a rally in Georgia today to drum up support ahead of the 2022 midterms, and we have to step up to fight harder than ever before.
With Republicans already pouring millions of dollars into fighting President Biden's agenda, there's never been a more important moment to roll up our sleeves and get to work. That's why here at DNC HQ, we're laying the early groundwork to protect and expand our majorities next year. We're reaching out to voters earlier than ever before, operating a 24/7 voter protection hotline, and, of course, supporting Democrats running for office in all 50 states, territories, and D.C. You play a huge part in that, so I have to ask:
Will you make a $7 donation to the Democratic Fight Fund before Trump steps on stage in Georgia? Anything you contribute right now will show that you're ready to stand up to the GOP, no matter what they throw our way.
Over the last few cycles at the DNC, I've worked against Trump twice -- and in that time, I've learned a thing or two about how he operates. His strategy is like spaghetti. No, really: Throw something at a wall and see if it sticks, so we have to be ready for everything.
With Trump back on the campaign trail, we can't take our foot off the gas.
The DNC is the only party organization tasked with electing Democrats from the school board to the Senate in every ZIP code, every year. By donating early on in the cycle -- when it matters most -- you'll give our party the ability to plan and make sure each dollar you invest is used in the most effective way possible to elect Democrats, whether that be hiring an organizer in a key battleground state or providing a candidate with the data and tech they need to get out the vote.
Make a $7 donation to the Democratic Fight Fund before Trump's rally today in Georgia. Every penny will help support Democrats as they take on the GOP in the months and years ahead.
Thank you,
Patrick
