We've accomplished a heck of a lot in the first 100 days of Vice President Harris and my administration. And I want to thank you for that.
We set a historic new target for emissions reduction, reversed the transgender military and Muslim bans, and expanded access to health care for millions of Americans.
We passed the American Rescue Plan and provided long-needed relief to the American people. We also doubled our goal of getting 100 million vaccines in arms by our 100th day -- and we've vaccinated more people than any other country on Earth.
Now, it's on all of us to pass the American Jobs Plan. It's a once-in-a-generation investment to rebuild our bridges and roads, make sure drinking water is safe no matter where you live, bring broadband coverage to every household in America, and more. It'll make a big difference in the lives of folks across the country.
We've got a lot done -- largely because of grassroots supporters like you -- but we've got a lot further to go to build our country back better. Our fight is not over. The progress we've fought so hard for can be reversed. And we cannot let up now.
The DNC will be essential in making sure we can keep electing Democrats up and down the ticket who are committed to enacting Kamala's and my agenda in the years to come -- and they're facing a big deadline tonight at midnight.
I hate to ask, but will you pitch in $7, or even just a few bucks, before then? Whatever you're able to give will go a long way in hiring organizers, protecting the right to vote, and so much more that'll be essential to the success of Democratic candidates in the years to come.
For too long, America has been falling back. Now it's time for us to start leading again. It's time for us to beat this virus once and for all. To live in a world where we can travel coast to coast without a single tank of gas, where everyone has access to clean water and air, and we can connect to high-speed, affordable internet wherever we live.
These are not hypotheticals. These are our plans. But we're going to need your support to help make them a reality. I hope you'll consider chipping in $7 to the DNC before their deadline tonight.
With thanks,
Joe
Joseph R. Biden Jr.
President of the United States
P.S. We've been able to gain a lot of ground in the last 100 days, but we have a lot further to go -- and you better bet Republicans are ready to obstruct our progress at every turn. Please, if you can, chip in $7 before the DNC's important deadline tonight to make sure we can keep electing Democrats in all 50 states, territories, and D.C.
