Pamela -- Here's a question I asked my Republican colleagues when state after state tried to pass Jim Crow-style laws restricting the right to vote: Why are you afraid of democracy? But we know why. When more people vote, Democrats win. When voting is easy and safe, democracy wins. We cannot let Republicans strip away the right to vote.
