Democrats' success in Georgia last election cycle is proof: Early investments deliver results.
Hardworking organizers have been fighting to flip Georgia for years, and we knew full well that victory would not come easy. But this party kept at it, investing early and fighting for every last vote, and it paid dividends when Georgia delivered Joe Biden the presidency and Democrats control of the Senate.
Now, it is incumbent upon us all to sustain our party for the long haul -- to ensure that our victories this year were not outliers, but bellwethers. Because the work it will take to elect Democrats in the years ahead is happening right now -- so there's no time to waste.
If these victories mean as much to you as they do to me, I hope you'll consider starting a monthly donation to the DNC today:
Few people predicted a year ago that Georgia would elect a Democratic president and two Democratic senators, but that's what happens when you put in the work over time. There's an expression in politics that time is the only nonrenewable resource, and right now we have the time we need to invest early on when it matters most.
By starting a monthly donation today, you'll make a continued investment that will support hiring and training organizers, sustaining Democratic tech and data infrastructure, and reaching every eligible voter every year, not just in the ones where they're heading to the polls.
If you're ready to invest in the future success of this party, will you make a $7 monthly contribution to the DNC today? The commitments we make in the coming weeks and months will have a profound impact on the work we're able to do to elect Democrats in the coming years.
Thanks for your support,
Jon
Jon Ossoff
U.S. Senator, Georgia
P.S. Georgia is proof that there's no such thing as an off year if we want to compete in every state. That's why I have to ask: Will you make a recurring donation to the Democratic Party today? Your support will send a strong message that you're in this fight for the long haul -- not just during presidential election years.
