I wanted to send you a quick note before the DNC's midnight deadline.
To be honest here: It's difficult to maintain momentum after an election cycle as big as last year's. We defeated Donald Trump, and Democrats took back control of Congress. But that doesn't mean our work is done.
Our congressional majorities are razor-thin. And if we want to be strong enough to fight for a Biden-Harris agenda and win in 2021, 2022, and beyond, our organizing and investing must start now. That's why we're relying on 4 more supporters from your area to step up before tonight's deadline.
So, if you can, will you be one of 4 more Democrats from your area to chip in $7 to the DNC before midnight? Our strength in future months will be a direct impact of your support today.
A lot of Democrats have emailed you this week, from Majority Leader Schumer to President Biden. They talked about why this deadline is important to our party and our country, but I have to admit: It's important to me personally, too.
I took over as chair at a moment when it's never been more important we have a strong DNC -- one capable of fighting for President Biden's agenda at every turn while making the huge investments necessary to flip more traditionally red states in elections to come. We need to build on our party's infrastructure, invest in state parties, and recruit great candidates in the months ahead -- and that all requires backing from dedicated Democrats like you so we can hit goals like tonight's.
I'll ask again: Will you be one of 4 more donors from your area to chip in $7 to the DNC before tonight's midnight deadline? We've come so far, but we can't rest on our laurels when there's so much work to be done.
Thanks as always,
Jaime

P.S. The work that we must do for the fights to come will take time, which means starting early. This is the last time I'll ask before our critical deadline at midnight, so: Will you chip in $7 to the DNC now?
