Here are two things you should know about me, Pamela: - I'm running to represent every one of Pennsylvania's 67 counties as our next U.S. Senator.
- I never have and never will take a dime from the fossil fuel industry.
That's why I just signed on to the No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge — a promise NOT to accept contributions over $200 from oil, gas, and coal industry executives, lobbyists, and PACs. Climate change is an existential threat, and we need to transition to clean energy as quickly as possible. And as we do this, we must ensure that we have a just transition that honors and upholds the union way of life for workers across Pennsylvania and creates thousands of good-paying union jobs in the process. Add your name if you agree that fossil fuel money should have no place in our politics. This is going to be an expensive race, but we're not going to rely on money from corporate PACs — including from the fossil fuel industry — to win it. Politics has become far too beholden to monied interests, and I think it's high time for that to change. That's why I'm proud to say that we aren't accepting a cent of corporate PAC money — and funds from the fossil fuel industry will be no exception. Climate change is a real and urgent threat and we need elected officials that are beholden to people — not fossil fuel corporations. If you agree, add your name. Thank you so much, Pamela John John Fetterman Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania |
