We can't just sit back and watch Mitch McConnell dismantle our progress. Friend -- Growing up, my parents struggled to make ends meet. My mom was a librarian and my dad was a shipyard worker who often worked overtime. I remember his calloused hands and worn boots. I remember their conversations about how they would pay the bills and keep a roof over our heads. Working-class families like ours had a tough time getting ahead in America. Senate Democrats are fighting back against Republicans' destructive agenda, but right now they're coming up on a critical FEC deadline and they're still short of their fundraising goal. We can't just sit back while Mitch McConnell dismantles the progress we've fought so hard for. Republicans are sabotaging our health care, refusing to secure U.S. elections, and rather than give working folks a break, they're peddling tax relief for billionaires and big corporations. But we can change all that by electing Democrats at every level. It all depends upon what we do now, together. To create change in America, we must put all our energy, enthusiasm, and yes, some money, into winning the Senate. It will be a tough fight, but experts confirm we can flip control. With trailblazing Senate candidates, we're in good hands. But they can't do it alone. They need our support, especially now, right before Monday's critical FEC deadline.
